*The secret to beautiful skin...eating healthy foods, such as, more vegetables, a good source of protein, drinking water. Preferably all organic foods. Why? Because they are free from pesticides and artificial preservatives. Our body uses what we put into it to nourish itself. So put something healthy in your bodies. Also, just as you would search for a great stylist to do your hair, look for a good Esthetician to work on your skin.
*Makeup should never be your skin care. Unnecessary ingredients in makeup is just that and can lead to skin problems. Makeup should just be a compliment to already good skin. Remember to always use a sunscreen on your face that is at least 30SPF.
*If you apply too much blush, don't panic, you can easily fix this. Take a clean powder brush and blend the blush out as much as you can, if it is still too much apply your Mineral Foundation over it to blend it out even more.
*Don't forget to do your eyebrows! Wether you are wearing a natural look, smokey eye, or fantasy eye, the eyebrows deserve special attention. If you look in fashion magazines, you will always notice the eyebrows are very important in the finished look. We have an excellent product for eyebrows. *Eyelash extensions. I think they are beautiful done by an expert. The upkeep is weekly, as your own lashes tend to fall out naturally and replace themselves continuously. If you are not into high maintenance, stay away from this procedure and use a full strip of false lashes instead. A full strip of lashes can be removed easily and used only when you want a long lash look.
*To apply mascara don't pump the applicator in the mascara tube. If you do that, it will trap air inside and the mascara will dry out. Be more gentle and twist the applicator to get more mascara on the brush.
*Take time out of your busy morning to look your best. It will make a huge difference in your confidence level throughout the day!
* To really make your eyes stand out, try one of our Multipurpose Minerals. Mix it with our Eyeliner Sealer and apply to lower lash line. If you have Brown eyes, try Emerald Green or Blue Night. For Blue Eyes, try Tangerine or Fantasy. For Green eyes, try Winter Green or Electric Wysteria. Don't stop there. Experiment with some other colors!
*Most think that to get a natural look for eyeshadow you have to use boring earth toned colors. Not necessarily. You can use any color, but apply a very light amount of it to the lids, blending very well. Our Multipurpose Minerals are easy to work with and blend easily.
*Why women over 40 should wear Mineral Makeup. There is a misconception that women who have some lines around the eye area should wear matte shadows. It is actually the opposite. You should consider wearing our Multipurpose Minerals for shadows because they reflect light and can minimize the look of lines around your eyes, where matte shadows absorb the light and bring out those little lines even more.
*To create a beautiful pink lip gloss. Get you favorite clear gloss and mix Palomba Pink with it, apply. You can mix it to be a very subtle pink or a stronger pink by adding more or less of Palomba Pink to the clear gloss.
*Making nail polish: Since our minerals do not contain dye no base coat is necessary when adding the minerals to clear polish. You may use a clear polish and add the mineral of your choice to it, keep adding the mineral until you get the desired color, mix well and polish as usual.
